1. Free Introduction to Medicine session
Never having spoken to medical students or doctors who have been through the UCAS process in the U.K. is a strong barrier to medical school. We aim to eliminate this barrier by delivering our introductory course to schools all across the country. Our team of doctors and medical students with various backgrounds and personal circumstances at their time of applying will provide students with invaluable insight and experience to prepare them for their medical school application. They will discuss real-life scenarios and break down any misconceptions about a career in medicine.
2. Doctor for a Day Conference
Passionate about a career in medicine? That's great! You'll need to prove it in your medical school application with practical experience. We all know what it's like to panic when it's time to write your personal statement because you don't have enough work experience. The good news is, we do all the hard work for you. We get doctors to come to you with an interactive full-day course. They'll not only leave you with newfound skills and invaluable insight, but lots to write in your personal statement and an action plan to take forward so you're fully prepared for your medical school application.
This is a full-day classroom course with a limit of 30 students and is offered to all GCSE and A-level students. The morning will consist of interactive lectures, followed by a lunch break, after which the students will be split into three groups. Each group will spend an hour on a practical skill before moving on to the next skill. Students will receive certificates for learning surgical and first aid skills. Please contact us for pricing.
